Tomasz Horaček

Tomasz Horacek is Vice President, Head of Business Services for State Street Bank International, Poland branch. He joined from HSBC in September 2013 and was working as Head of Project Management Office Poland until September 2016 when his roles expanded into Business Services. Currently his local responsibilities include Project Management Office and Conversion project teams, Information Technology, Enterprise Risk Management, Global Realty Services, Finance Shared Service Centre and Global Marketing.
He holds a Master of Science degree from University of Science (Akademia Gorniczo-Hutnicza) in Telecommunication Engineering and Electronics. He was working in the IT sector and IT consulting at the beginning of his career. In 2007 he joined HSBC as a Project Manager to help build a regional shared service center in Poland and Czech Republic. He was involved in various transformational projects ranging from new product launches, process reengineering and operating model design, regulatory projects through transaction project (business disposals, closures).
At State Street Tomasz was leading the Poland expansion project to setup a second office in Gdansk in 2015/16. He is member of the branch governance team. Tomasz is also member of the local BeWell committee. Tomasz is fluent in English and German.
